Well back in the 1558 the queen said that she didn't want purple in any flag.
But why did she not want purple in any flags purple was a very good colour? Well purple was a Royalty colour so it was a very expensive colour so the Royalty could afford it, but not all Royalty could. like Rome the queen of Rome wanted purple but they couldn't afford it.
But if purple is so expensive then where did purple come from?
purple came from Mediterranean Sea but the colour come from a snail, and 1lbs =3lbs of gold that's $56,000,00 US dollar.
