Hello today im going to tell you what I did in cooking. This is my first food blog.
We made Mex mince/ Nachos, so we needed to everything ready for today, First we went over ingredients to make our food. Here is a photo of what we are trying to make.
Im going to tell you who was in my team what the ingredients and what my next step is.
In my team with Cate can sam we got to work together and I think we were a great team.
This is who you make it.
¼ t Garlic (jar) or 2 clove of fresh garlic (finely chopped or crushed)
1 small Onion – finely diced
150 g Mince
1 small Carrot – finely diced
¼ - ½ Capsicum – diced (use red and green or yellow capsicums)
4T corn / peas (use frozen)
6 T of Chilli Beans / Baked Beans (or to taste)
2 T Tomato Paste
2 T -4T chopped Tomatoes (use tinned diced tomatoes)
½ t – 1 t Taco Seasoning mix
6 T Water
Salt and Pepper as required
Method
1. Heat 1 t Oil and ½ t Butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
2. Sauté onion and garlic, approximately 1 min.
3. Add carrot, capsicum, peas and corn.
4. Stir fry for 2 min.
5. Add mince. Cook stirring until brown (no more lumps or pink colour)
6. Add rest of ingredients.
7. Stir until just bubbling and turn element to low. Simmer for 2 – 3 min.
Cover pan and turn off element. Leave for 5 -7 minutes.
8. Serve with Taco chips, Pita bread or Tortillas etc
9. Garnish with shredded lettuce, grated cheese, avocado, sour cream etc.
Im not a big fan of the food but I think my family would love to try it.
I think my next step will be making this for my mum and sister.

Hello today im going to talk to you about what I was learning about.
In hurumanu 1 we are learning what gold mines are. So im going to tell you what I learnt. First we had to make a blog about what we know about mines without looking it up, and what discrimination is. I didn't know much about mines but I did know a lot about discrimination. Now I know somethings about the mines.
In the 19th century discovering gold was a way out of poverty.(another world for poor) From the 1860s gold rush followed gold rush.(Here is the link where I got the information) By Christmas 1861, there were nearly ten thousand prospectors in and around Gabriel’s Gully. Many had come from the gold rushes in Australia and California.They were among the lucky few. Most men lived in hope. (The link were I got the information)
Before Pākehā came to New Zealand, Maori had no use for gold. There were only a few girl gold miners New Zealand. Little Biddy she was around 1.2 metres tall yet she works as hard as the others.

Hello today im going to talk to you about what I know about Gold Rush.
So first I have not be learning about Gold Mining for a long time so. I learnt want gold rush is from my dad watching a TV show called Gold Rush. So it was a big thing for my dad because he would want as to watch the show, so if we needed it for school or if we wanted to do something like Gold Rush when were older for a job.

Gold mines were used to get Gold for money. Hard rock gold mining is used for different things. Like... people would speed hours and hour making a hole to find gold and they have a pathway.
What is Discrimination?
Discrimination has been with us for a long time. Discrimination is being racist to some one that you don't like were there from, and making fun of what they look like or what they like to eat. It's basically making fun of people you hate or not like.

Today im going to talk to you about my holiday.
I went to the movies and watched the war with grandpa. It was a funny movie but I didn't really like the movie because my family was really load they didn't even watch the movie. If they weren't load i might of liked if a bit more so all together I give the movie 7 and a haft.Here is a photo of the movies i when to.

Today im going to talk to you about my B & E went.
On Wednesday we had B & E (businesses and expenses) I got to learn how to run a business and it wasn't easy, because for the first hour only one person came. But once said that we were selling candy and slime they all wanted to come. We cant only make $25.00. If we said we were just selling candy and slime we could of made more.I was not expecting as to have not much people. I was hoping we got more because people like slime and candy, but they didn't like to play games to win candy or slime. Here is the candy we got and slime we made.
