Hur 6(Food Groups)

 Today im going to talk to you about. Here and the Groups 

Vegetables + Fruit - at least 3 servings of vege and 2 servings of fruit every day 

Grain foods - 6 servings each day (check portion sizes)

Milk/Milk products - 2 servings

Legumes/Nuts/Seeds/Fish/Seafood/Eggs/Poultry/Meat etc. - 2 servings 

Breakfast	Fruit-Banana,berries with  Weet-Bix and milk.
Lunch	Ham and cheese sandwich
Snack	Carrots and Apple
Dinner	Vegetables -Mashed potatoes and  meat-Steak
Water	How many servings per day? 8 servings a day How do you think you could fit these in besides just at meal times?  Before school    At sport’s when your running all over the place. After school

What is one possible solution from the story about oxygen on Mars?

There is not much oxygen on Mars to they would need to wear a mask so they can live

If it doesn’t rain on Mars, where does the water come from?

On Mar you can get water from the soil and extract it from the soil.

How will people get food on Mars? What is a possible solution?

When the people from Mars land they get food from Earth.

Writing and drawings

 Hello today im going to tell you what I got to draw and writing.  I liked how we got to do some writing of our own story and drawing's.

Here it is 

First is my writing.

Kate’s Home.

Kate awakes to the blaring sound of her alarm clock.  As she tried to regain consciousness from her deep sleep the anxiety of her new reality began to sink in. You see, today wasn’t just the first day of school for the year,  but it was Kate’s first day at school ever, even though she was 15 years old.

Kate was getting ready for her big day, she had a feeling she wouldn't like to enjoy it, because she had never been to a school. She was homeschooled for a long time and had never even seen a school. She asked her mum and dad if she could go to one, but they said no for 7 years. Now that  Kate is 15 she wants to go to highschool. Kate has already missed the first year and a half at school. Her mum and dad said that she can go, but only for a term to see how they like Kate going to one. 

Walking to school.

Kate is going to school  but she was stopped by Bill, her new friend. He asked her if she needs some help getting to school.  Kate thought it would be uncomfortable because he was a boy. So Kate said no and walked away thinking about Bill, her new friend.

School

She got to school with a smile on her face thinking it would be a good day. But no, Bill started to run away from school because he wanted Kate to like him. So he got into his Villain outfit and went back to school and started doing ba d things to the school.  Bill tried to make a fire but Kate ran to Bill and stopped him from doing anything wrong. Not knowing what was about to happen. Kate got hurt so bad that she needed to go to the hospital. Bill started to cry. He didn't mean to hurt her.

Hospital

Kate was waiting for her mum and dad but she didn’t know Bill was coming to see her. Untill she had a feeling he was coming but she didn’t mind if he came or not. When he showed up Bill had a nice gift for her something she wanted for a long time. 

“Bill?!? What are you doing here?” asked Kate. 

“Well I just had a feeling you would be here”, said Bill. 

“Kate, I got you a new phone, I knew you wanted one for a long time now. Let’s just say it’s a Birthday gift” said Bill. Kate was so happy for the new phone but not so happy because her mum and dad aren’t here with her.

Next day in the Hospital.

Kate was ready to go back home. Kate was not so happy because she had to stay home for 5 weeks. She was so upset because she couldn’t see Bill. 

Kate’s home

Bill came to Kate’s house before he went to school because they always walk to school together.He had no one to walk with so Kate’s mum said that they can take Bill to school so Kate has someone to talk to.

At school 

Kate’s dad came to Kate’s school saying, “WE NEED TO LEAVE NOW KATE”. Kate was so confused why her dad was so loud.

“LEAVE THIS PLACE AT ONCE KATE”. Said her dad trying not to look back at Bill.

Bill ran to Kate and her dad saying “PLEASE DON’T LEAVE I JUST WANT YOUR DAD TO LEAVE!!!” He tried not to cry when he said that.

Kate said as confused as they all were. “Why? You  don't know him!?” Said Kate.

Bill said before he almost cried. “I do know your dad more than you know him yourself”.

Kate was getting more confused. “But how”?

Bill tried to say. “He’s my… “

“STOP!!” Said Kate's dad trying to keep it to himself.

“DON'T TELL HER SHE DOESN'T NEED TO KNOW RIGHT NOW!!!”

 Bill said “Fine but i'm done with your thing”. Then he took Kate with him back to school and Kate's dad never came back... or did he?

 Hello guys! today i'll be talking about my Monologue here it is.

You, frumpy pigskin, right Rumpelstiltskin…my bad. Where’s that first born you were promised, eh?  Hook! Need I say more? Anastasia, remember when you couldn’t get your fat foot in that glass slipper? Cinderella is out there right now, eating bon bons and schmoozing with every last fairy tale creature that has ever done you wrong! There are two sides to every story. And our side has not been told. So, who wants to come out on top for once? Who wants their happily ever after?

Netball

Today i'm going to talk to you about netball. I'm going to talk to you about the game, where you can go, and what positions there are. So here are some positions there are in netball.

In netball there are GA that is Goal Attack and  Goal Shooter, Goalkeeper  Centre  Wing Defence  Wing Attack and  Goal Defence. When you are in the game you will be put in a place you don't know where to go but you will be put there because the person who put you there knows that’s a good position  for you and they will tell you where you can go. But for short they will just put GA GD GS GK WA WD and C 

I'm going to tell you where you can go when you are called for that spot.

Goalkeepers can only go in the goal third and the goal circle to get the ball off the goal shooter and goal Attack.Goal shoot can only go in the goal circle and the goal third and get the ball in the hoop with Goal Attack. Goal Defence can only go in the centre third and the goal third and the goal circle.

Goal Attack can go in the same place as  Goal Defence 

Wing Defence can only go in the centre third and the Goal third but not in the goal circle Wing Attack can only go in the centre third and the goal third just not in the circle.

Centre can go anywhere but not the goal circle’s.

You may think the game is bad or too many things to remember but once you get a win or you get used to it you might say that it’s a ok game and you might get in a team that’s a really good team or a club. When I was a year 6 I got to play for my school Team. We were in the B team. If you don’t know what the B Team is it’s like a grade and now I made it in the A Team for the Hornby club. If you work hard and try your best at what you're good at then you will make it in your dream Team.

Do you think Netball is just a girl sport? Well no Netball is a boy sport and a girl sport because in my team there is a boy named Terry, he is one of the best players in our team  If you're a boy and you like netball then you should try out for a club or your school team Or you could at least try to play for fun,Because sport’s should always be a fun thing to do.

My Strength!

so Im going to tell you about meh Strength.

But first we had to do a test to see what are Strength are.

My first strength is 

Bravery

Bravery is: you do things even if they scare you and aren't afraid to stand up for what's right. You'll be lucky because you're not afraid to take risks and challenge yourself.

Appreciation 

Appreciation is: You're good at finding beauty in the world  and people around you. If something's not beautiful,you appreciate other qualities and see beauty anyway.

Prudence

Prudence is: You're careful but in a good way!  You don't say or do things you might later regret,and this helps you to hang onto your friend's and stay out of trouble.


Kindness

Kindness is: You're caring and generous,and you go through life thinking about others and look out for them, not thinking about yourself.
