Hur 6(Food Groups)

 Today im going to talk to you about. Here and the Groups 

Vegetables + Fruit - at least 3 servings of vege and 2 servings of fruit every day 

Grain foods - 6 servings each day (check portion sizes)

Milk/Milk products - 2 servings

Legumes/Nuts/Seeds/Fish/Seafood/Eggs/Poultry/Meat etc. - 2 servings 


Breakfast

Fruit-Banana,berries with  Weet-Bix and milk. 


Lunch

Ham and cheese sandwich

Snack

Carrots and Apple

Dinner

Vegetables -Mashed potatoes and  meat-Steak 

Water

How many servings per day? 8 servings a day

How do you think you could fit these in besides just at meal times? 

  • Before school 

  •   At sport’s when your running all over the place.

  • After school
